Williamson County Parks and Rec offering art journaling, piano lessons, Pickleball this month

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is offering numerous classes and activities in July for children and adults. All classes are open to the public and will be held at the Franklin Recreation Complex. Check out the list below:

Mixed Media Art Journaling For Teens

July’s Art Journaling will encourage artists to artistically journal and doodle their thoughts on freedom, peace and patriotism.

Art Journaling classes run 1.5 hours weekly and each month features a different topic and techniques that build to complete that month’s page. This multi-sitting approach is perfect for artwork that is a progression of layers. Art Journaling elevates Mixed Media by way of the informal journal format allowing artist a place to take changes, experiment and learn, and to personalize their art with titles or text that enhances their pages with thoughts about the subject matter.
