The annual Williamson County Memorial Day Ceremony will be held Monday, May 28 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Veterans’ Memorial Park, located at Five Points in downtown Franklin.

The program will last approximately 45 minutes and seating will be provided. Last year, seats filled quickly, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn and folding chairs.

In case of rain, the alternate plan is to move the event to the nearby Williamson County Archives.

In observance of the holiday, Franklin Transit Authority fixed routes and TODD (Transit On Demand) services will not run. All Franklin Transit service will resume Tuesday morning, May 29, 2018.
