Vines & Vintage brings state-sanctioned wine festival to Rippavilla

Fall is in the air and that means it’s time for Vines & Vintage on the front lawn
of historic Rippavilla Plantation.

This lively event will welcome wineries from across Tennessee to Spring Hill for a day of wine, vintage cars, vintage and artisan shopping, food trucks and live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Working with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the Tennessee Wine Growers Association, Vines & Vintage is one of only seven state-sanctioned wine festivals in Tennessee.

Vines & Vintage is the final wine festival for the 2017 season.

Because the festival is state-sanctioned, participating wineries will sell their wines exactly as they do at their own vineyards. Festival goers will be able to sample wine and buy it by the bottle or the case while touring the Tennessee winery booths. You will also be able to enjoy a bottle of wine with your lunch or while listening to live music.

In addition to award-winning Tennessee wines and a car show, Rippavilla invited some of its favorite vintage vendors and artisans back for this event. These talented vendors will be onsite selling one-of- a-kind items just in time to start your Christmas shopping.

Vines & Vintage committee members hope festival attendees will purchase a bottle of wine, enjoy lunch from one of the food vendors while listening to a live performance by local folk and blues artist Damien Boggs. Damien’s performance is from 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are available on Rippavilla’s website, www.rippavilla.org, for $20 per person; a savings of $5 per person. The discount offer will end Monday, Oct. 23. Admission at the gate will be $25 for anyone enjoying the wine. Designated drivers can enter for just $10. Designated driver tickets are available the day of the event only. The wine festival is a 21-and- over event. Everyone will have to
show photo ID to attend the festival. Title sponsors for the event are First Farmers & Merchants Bank, General Motors and Maury County Visitors Bureau.

For more information, please call Rippavilla at (931) 486-9037 or visit www.rippavilla.org. While we love our pets, they are not allowed at this event.
