Franklin police will continue to investigate an early-morning armed robbery Monday where fleeing suspects fired shots at the clerk.
UPDATE at 2:46 p.m.
FPD have released photos from this morning’s robbery at a gas station off of the Goose Creek Bypass.
The suspects attempted to disguise their identity, using baggy clothing to cover their faces.
Detectives also want to identify two men, strongly believed to be connected to the robbery, FPD spokesperson Lt. Charlie Warner said in a news release. They were seen inside a Nashville gas station less than an hour after the Franklin robbery.

Franklin police will continue to investigate an early-morning armed robbery Monday where fleeing suspects fired shots at a clerk of the Mapco gas station at 2408 Goose Creek Bypass.
Shortly before 5 a.m., two men robbed the gas station and on their way out. The suspects fired two shots at the clerk, but no one was struck, FPD spokesperson Lt. Charlie Warner said in a news release.
Authorities transported the clerk to an area hospital for evaluation of the injuries he sustained when the suspects physically assaulted him during the robbery.
Because the suspects obscured their identity, no physical descriptions are currently available. Detectives are working to secure video from the robbery.
“This is a very active investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available,” Warner said.
Information regarding this case is worth up to $1,000 with an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers: (615) 794-4000.
