Ansbach Artisans in Franklin will feature the works of five local artists during the gallery’s monthly Saturday Night Live Art (SNL Art) event on July 30.

Amy Luker, Ugo Paradiso, Dolly Georgieva-Gode, Omari Booker and Kate Cloud will be painting live in the gallery on July 30 from 6-9 p.m. All of the artists will also be displaying and selling finished works. Live music will be provided by Mel Deal and his smooth jazz guitar.

SNL Art is free, open to the public and family friendly.

Owner Michael Phillips opened Ansbach Artisans in May 2015 at 1974 Wilson Pike in Franklin. The former site of Jamison Market is now the home of a wonderful art gallery which features only original works by Middle Tennessee artists.

The gallery is named for the city of Ansbach, Germany where Phillips served in the Army as a Black Hawk helicopter pilot.

“This July we are featuring five fantastic artists,” said Phillips. “We’re glad to provide the community with an opportunity to watch local artists’ work come to life before their eyes. It’s a great way for visitors of all ages to spend a summer evening.”

SNL Art is on the final Saturday of each month and is open to visitors of all ages. The next event takes place on July 30 from 6-9 p.m. Details of the event can be found on the gallery website, AnsbachArtisans.com.
