The Battle of Franklin Trust adds event, group tour coordinator

The Battle of Franklin Trust has hired Hannah Jacobs as event and group tour coordinator.

Jacobs will handle corporate and private events at Carnton (a historic plantation house and museum in Franklin), as well as other special projects and group tour initiatives.

Previously, Jacobs worked as a special events planner in Fayetteville, Tennessee (her hometown).

Jacobs obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, where she studied animal science with a concentration in science and technology. At UT, she held numerous leadership roles with the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, where she assisted in event planning.

“[Jacobs’] experience and passion for event planning will reflect in her work for the Trust and the many upcoming projects she will be a part of,” Eric A. Jacobson, CEO of the Battle of Franklin Trust, said in a release.

The Battle of Franklin Trust is a 501(c)3 management corporation acting on behalf of Franklin’s battlefield sites to contribute to visitor experience related to the November 30, 1864, Civil War battle.
