Summer Reading programs begin for all ages, with space-themed launch activity for Tweens

WILLIAMSON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Summer Reading programs at the Williamson County Public Library are forming up now.

There are programs for children, teens and adults, and this coming Saturday is a special launch activity for Tweens (children ages 10 to 12).

A Universe of Stories is the theme for all the summer reading programs, and the Tween program is going to geek on the MOON and all things lunar. The Tween launch program is 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. There will be a lunar space race plus fun moon art and games.

Register now so we will have enough snacks for everyone! Participants must be between the ages of 10-12 to attend.

This program is provided as part of our children’s summer reading program, A Universe of Stories. The summer reading program encourages reading to children and by children during June and July to maintain their learning progress when area schools are out.
Register your child for free by visitinghttp://wcpltn.org/summer_reading or visiting your local Library Branch. Children from ages 0-12 can participate, plus there are summer reading programs for teens and adults too. Everyone can read and win fun prizes
