STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Franklin High School

Isabel “Carrie” Berry Womack

Isabel “Carrie” Berry Womack, daughter of Steve Womack and Alana Berry, is a senior at Franklin High School and this week’s Student of the Week.

She is involved in a whole host of extracurriculars including theater, voice coaching, youth group, church choir, Interact Club and several national honors societies. Some of these include: Spanish, English, History and Thespian.

Womack is passionate about acting, singing, writing and spending time outdoors.

Her favorite class is AP English because she loves literature, whether it is discussing or watching it.

Her mother, Alana, is one of her biggest influences and inspirations because of her care for others.

“She appreciates people and always works hard and does any job well. She always motivates me to be the best me I can be,” Womack said.

One of Womack’s teachers, Melissa Wilson said of her, “Isabel is always showing excellence not only in her academics, but in the way she is willing to help and serve others. Numerous times I have seen her put something aside so that she can help a student that may be struggling with something. She is prepared for class and brightens my day!”

After finishing her final year at FHS, she plans to attend college and eventually pursue a career as an actress.
