Grace Fullerton, daughter of Suzanne Fullerton, is a freshman at Franklin High School and this week’s student of the week.
Fullerton is involved in lacrosse and the marching band at Franklin High School. Marching band is one of her greatest passions. She said, “I love it so much. It can be tiring and hard, but at the end of the day it’s all worth it!”
One of her biggest accomplishments occurred last year when the girls lacrosse team went undefeated until the championship games.
Her favorite class comes as no surprise. Band.
“I have lots of friends in that class and I’m usually always having fun,” Fullerton said.
Her role models are her two older sisters. She admires them both for their strong work ethic. According to Fullerton, one of her sisters is working and attending college—and manages both very well at all times.
One of her teachers, Mr. Thomas Jordan said of Fullerton, “Grace is a model student! She helps the people around her, is always on task and completes her homework on time. Her efforts in the classroom have also paid off in big ways—scoring a perfect 100% on her Chapter 3 Test.”
After high school, she would like to become a chef. She said she has had dreams of being a chef since she was little. She said she hopes that one day, she can move to New York and work as a chef there. The sky is the limit for Fullerton.
