Spring Hill Orchestra performing at county library Saturday

The Spring Hill Orchestra plans to perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s acclaimed opera “Le Nozze di Figaro” this Saturday at the Williamson County Public Library.

Sopranos Melissa Dufrechou and Rachel Baker will sing selections from the roles of Susanna, Cherubino and Countess Almaviva. Bass baritone Justin Colon will sing selections from the roles of Count Almaviva and Figaro.

Conductor Rebecca Vendemo founded the Spring Hill Orchestra in November 2014, and has since grown to include a large collection of volunteer musicians, primarily from Williamson and Maury Counties, but other parts of Middle Tennessee, as well.

The concert is slated to be held from 2-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Williamson County Public Library. Admission is free but donations will be accepted.
