SNAPSHOT OF FRANKLIN: The Texting Yoga Pants are back

By BROOKE WANSER

On Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m., Franklin police officers blocked off Main Street at Five Points and 4th Avenue while a group of women danced to a parody of “The Greatest Show” from The Greatest Showman soundtrack.

Since their 2015 parody music video “I Wanna go to Chick-fil-A” became a viral sensation, the Texting Yoga Pants, a group of Franklin moms, have been busy with their YouTube channel, their business, and of course, their kids.

The marquee on the Franklin Theatre read “This is OUR Greatest Show- The Texting Yoga Pants.”

A videographer captured the song and dance routine, while a drone flew in the air above.

“Snapshot of Franklin” is a photo column intended to showcase different people who make up pieces of our town.
