Elaborate food stations — one sporting a five-foot ice sculpture engraved with the initial “W” — were present throughout the upper and lower decks of the open-air, transitional clubroom. Upstairs, in the main and private dining rooms, guests enjoyed pyramids of International cheeses, antipastos and Middle Eastern, Asian and French appetizers. Downstairs, in the men’s lounge, covered patio and outdoor tent gazebo, Executive Chef Peter Moore’s staff presented whole suckling pig, carved lamb lollipops and baked salmon coulibiac.

A photo booth was erected In the golf shop office where a photographer took memory photos of guests donned in gangster hats, ragtime boas and other amusing props. The big splash, however, was miniature freshwater bowls decorating the cocktail tables with frolicking Mollies, goldfish and guppies.

The party also served as a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

The private golf club is located three miles west of downtown Franklin in the Westhaven community.  The new clubhouse offers full service golf, social and dining facilities, a grill, a full-scale pro shop, a turn grill, several outdoor terraces, a bar, event patios, men and women’s locker rooms, club and shoe maintenance, and administrative offices.
