Sanctuary South, a new home décor store in Westhaven, will offer its Grand Opening Celebrate & Shop event from 2-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4.
The store, at 158 Front Street, Suite 104 in the Westhaven Town Center, features curated furniture, lighting and accessories.
Mother and daughter co-owners Suzy Mills and Chelsea Skye Mills are co-owners.
Several of the store’s specialty vendors, including stationery and jewelry designers and local artists, will attend the festivities and be available to share their stories about their products.
“Sanctuary South was born out of a lifelong dream to create comforting spaces for people,” co-owner Chelsea Skye Mills said in announcing the grand opening. “Our customers are like family to us and so are our vendors. We carry products of larger Southern furnishing vendors like TAG and Napa Home, but we also showcase some amazing small vendors like Jerry & Julep stationery, 1818 Farms soaps and lotions, Canoe Bags, Henry Dry Goods, and Kee Kee Tees.”
Holiday home accent pieces, ornaments and gifts will take center stage at the opening next week. Sanctuary South features some distinctively southern stocking stuffers for the whole family, such as socks for dad, candles for mom, and items for baby.
“We are thrilled to be opening our store in Franklin – the city we have called home for over ten years,” co-owner Suzy Mills said in the announcement. “Our house has always been our ‘sanctuary,’ our retreat from the stresses of everyday life, and we want our customers to feel that same kind of peace and comfort when shopping in our store for furnishings and accessories to complement their own home.”
