Despite outshooting Page 15-3, the Brentwood Bruins couldn’t find the back of the net in Tuesday’s scoreless tie.
Brentwood, which has recorded six shutouts in seven games, has allowed only one goal this year, which was a penalty kick against Gallatin March 12.
“We had many opportunities to put the ball in the net but our final touch was extremely poor,” said Brentwood head coach Mike Purcell. “It’s frustrating because the defense has played very well.”
At 7 p.m. Thursday, Brentwood will host Norman North (OK), which was recently ranked as the No. 2 team in the nation by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
