ROUNDUP: BGA, Page girls soccer earn district wins; PHS volleyball sweeps Summit

GIRLS SOCCER

Middle Tennessee Christian School 0 at Battle Ground Academy 5

Graham Meyer scored a hat trick to lead the BGA Lady Wildcats to a 5-0 win against MTCS Tuesday.

Lindsey Sauder added two goals, while Sara Evans had four assists and Anna Kerr posted one assist.

Nolensville 2 at Page 3

The Page Patriots took down Nolensville 3-2 in a District 11-AA clash Tuesday.

Nolensville was led by Delanie Gebhard and Parker Lefwich, who scored one goal apiece.

Grace Christian Academy 9 at Hickman County 0

GCA improved to 3-0 on the season with a 9-0 win at Hickman County Tuesday.

Sophomores Abby White and Gabby Jones led the Lady Lions with two goals and two assists apiece. Savannah Phillips added two goals, while Anna Blair Fish, Hope Ring and Addison McGinniss had one goal each.

VOLLEYBALL

Franklin 0 at Brentwood 3

Brentwood defeated Franklin 25-12, 25-8, 25-15.

Aspen Martin posted nine kills and four digs in the win, while Celia Lamb had nine kills and a block. Tori Carpenter added 31 assists, six digs, five kills, three blocks and one ace.

Centennial 1 at Ravenwood 3

Ravenwood took down Centennial 30-28, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Vic Cerino registered 19 kills, two aces and 18 digs in the victory.

Sam Rickert added 22 assists, four aces and nine digs, while Carly Cooper had 15 digs and 10 assists.

Page 3 at Summit 0

Page dropped Summit 25-17, 25-14, 25-21 Tuesday.

Page’s Amanda Webb and Lanie Vantrease posted 12 kills apiece, while Claire Behan had 32 assists. Becca Condo added 15 digs in the victory.

Summit was led by Avri Davis (11 kills, 3 blocks, 1 ace), Abbey Grubbs (9 assists, 3 kills, 2 blocks), Allison Turpin (10 assists, 1 ace), Destiny Cherry (4 kills, 2 blocks) and Haley Sanders (14 digs).

“We started fast in the first set but unforced errors turned a lead into a deficit that we could not overcome,” Summit head coach Warne Riker said. “We need to eliminate mistakes as we host Ravenwood on Thursday.”

BOYS GOLF

Page 168 vs. Dickson County 151

Page’s Chase Hutchison shot 41, Jack Emerson and Asa Champ each shot 42 and Justin Reed shot 43 in a 151-168 loss against Dickson County.

GIRLS GOLF

Page 107 vs. Dickson County 125

Page’s Lindsay Napier shot 52 and Kaitlyn Smith shot 55 in a 107-125 win against Dickson County.
