Online auction builds financial assistance fund for Franklin Police officers
A silent auction continues through Friday to fund LEAP, a volunteer-run nonprofit organization that provides support and financial assistance to Franklin police officers in times of hardship, as well as college scholarships for their children.
LEAP volunteers are recognizing Police Appreciation Week through the online silent auction open to the public. All the proceeds go directly into the Law Enforcement Assistance Fund.
Among the items up for auction are autographed music and sports memorabilia, including a guitar signed by the Brothers Osborne, a hockey stick signed by Viktor Arvidsson of the Nashville Predators, Pilgrimage Festival tickets, theatre tickets, children’s items, home goods, fitness center passes, even legal services and much more.
