Fedya Tracy, age 22 of Franklin, Tenn., passed away Oct. 23, 2016.
He was born as Fyodor (Fedya) Sergueyevich Kovalyov on Feb. 12, 1994, in Smolensk, Russia, and adopted on December 15, 2003, by Tim and Rhonda Tracy of Franklin, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James T. Tracy.
Survived by adoptive parents and brother, Shane Tracy; paternal grandmother, Margene Smith Tracy; maternal grandparents, Henry and Dollie Ramsey; aunts and uncles, Terry (Gwen) Tracy, Vicky Wendt, Carolyn Valerio, Pat (Dede) Tracy, Susie (Shannon) Gullet, Danny (Mary) Ramsey, Mike (Beverly) Ramsey, Jeanne (David) Richardson and Tim (Juanita) Ramsey; best friend, Pasha Surbaugh and several other loving family members.
Fedya was proud of his Russian heritage and attended Safonovo Boarding School, Safonovo, Russia (1999-2003), Johnson/Liberty Elementary (2004-2006), Freedom Intermediate/Middle (2006-2010), Franklin Christian Academy (2010-2011), and was a high school graduate of CALO Academy, Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. (2012-2013). He had been working several construction jobs, and most recently was employed by Color Burst Landscapes. He loved playing soccer and was passionate about his favorite team, FC (Futbol Club) Barcelona. He also really enjoyed playing basketball with his older brother, Shane.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Franklin First United Methodist Church, Main Campus, 120 Aldersgate Way, Franklin Tenn. Visitation will be between 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home 3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin Tenn., and one hour prior to the service at the church.
