A male pedestrian was struck and killed Thursday night by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on Saturn Parkway in Spring Hill, close to Port Royal Road.
The Spring Hill Police Crash Investigation Team is currently investigating the incident.
“A vehicle was traveling westbound on Saturn Parkway, and there was a male individual in the road,” said lieutenant Justin Whitwell with the Spring Hill Police Department. “Our crash investigation team still has to investigate all the ins and outs of what occurred.”
Police received a call about the incident at approximately 8 p.m., and subsequently closed off Saturn Parkway going east and westbound around Port Royal Road. It’s unknown if the victim was a resident of Spring Hill, with police only releasing the fact that it was a male individual.
