Delaney Noe, daughter of Shelly and Larry Noe, is our Jet’s Pizza Female Athlete of the Week.
She is a freshman at Page High School and a member of the girls basketball team. She plays the position of guard.
This season, her biggest highlight has been scoring 12 points against Franklin High School.
Her dad’s encouragement and influence is what propelled her into playing basketball and having a love for the game.
When asked what inspires her to train and compete she said, “I want to be the best, so I have to work hard.”
Her biggest role model and inspiration is Diana Taurasi, a professional basketball player.
PHS girls basketball coach, Coach Brown said of her, “Delaney is one of the hardest working players on our team. As a freshman, she has made great strides on the court. We are proud to have her as a part of our team.”
Although only a freshman, Noe has a very clear plan of what she hopes to do in the future. After graduating from PHS, she would like to attend Duke University, play basketball there, and pursue a career as a dentist.
