Clearly the appearance of your home from the curb is often why someone wants to see the inside of your home. Apparently it is also deemed true, the inside of your home is assumed to be as neat in appearance as the portrait you paint with the outside appearance.
The very first thing your potential buyers see is the outside of your home. If there are cracks in the driveway, untrimmed trees, and weeds galore it is assumed the inside must have maintenance issues as well. This is a quick assumption that there will be stress involved in this purchase. This stress translates into dollar signs in the mind of the buyer at that very moment of arrival and seeing the outside appearance of your home.
You want your home to stand out against the competition in your price range. If you want an honest opinion you should seek the help of a professional. If your curb appeal is outside my realm of expertise then I will bring in someone who knows. I can always help you in getting your home ready to show to prospective buyers.
