Iron Tribe Fitness to open in April as only gym downtown

Still completing renovations, crews should have the new Iron Tribe Fitness Center ready to open in downtown Franklin by mid-April.

The new location will become the only athletic complex in downtown Franklin. It will also mark the gym’s third location in Williamson County. Iron Tribe Fitness blends personal training and goals into high-intensity group workouts.

Cool Springs manager Austin Dubberly said moving creating a location downtown was an easy sell for the company.

“It’s an underserved area, and with the community present in Franklin, it’s also an under tapped area,” he said. “We thought it was a magnificent location. We have four other locations in Nashville. We have plans to have eight gyms in the area in the long-run.”

Dubberly said they expect to keep the club at around 300 members to maximize personalization for each athlete. Memberships range in cost depending on what each person is looking for training and time investment.

“The culture and the vibe of Iron Tribe is unique,” he said. “We have people in their mid-20s in great shape here, and we have people over 60 who had never been in a gym. There are people of all different fitness levels or background working out together. It brings together a fun community.”

Iron Tribe’s new location will open at 507 Fair Street.
