Harlinsdale park pavers offered in buy one, get one deal

Friends of Franklin Parks is offering another opportunity for the public to become permanent part of the Park at Harlinsdale Farm by purchasing a tax-deductible paver for $250, and getting a second paver free.

The pavers are part of the Rotary Club of Cool Springs Plaza leading to the Tractor Supply Co. Arena in the park. Hundreds of pavers already are engraved with the names of business and individuals who supported the project, but there is room for more.

“The Rotary Plaza has plenty of room and we know a lot of people missed the opportunity to participate before. This is a great incentive around Small Business Saturday and Giving Tuesday to support Friends of Franklin Parks and score a great deal,” said Friends of Franklin Parks Executive Director Torrey Barnhill. “Your name, or that of your company, loved one or cherished friend, will be engraved on the entryway to the Arena forever.”

The 5” x 10” pavers can be engraved with three lines of up to 16 characters each, and purchasers can include any message that honors or inspires.

Pavers are available for a tax-deductible contribution of $250 through www.friendsoffranklinparks.org or by calling Barnhill at 615-674-5388. From Black Friday (Nov. 25) through Christmas Day (Dec. 25), any purchaser of a paver will receive a second engraved paver for free.

Barnhill says the funds will be used to continue improvements at Harlinsdale and across the City of Franklin’s 16-park system.

“This makes the perfect gift. We’ve had engagements and other significant moments marked by people who love Harlinsdale and wanted the place to be part of their lives forever,” Barnhill said. “Whether it’s a child or a retired parent, everyone loves to know that they were a part of building something so special.”
