Franklin police officers said they are still looking for one Murfreesboro man after he evaded police arrest and ran away from a T.J. Maxx.

Franklin police officers said they are still looking for one Murfreesboro man after he evaded police arrest and ran away from a T.J. Maxx.

William Earp, 35, ran from T.J. Maxx Loss Prevention Officers who were attempting to arrest him for shoplifting on Jan. 11. Once he got to his vehicle, Earp sped away, nearly hitting a shopper. He is now wanted for felony theft and reckless driving.

So far, the Murfreesboro man has eluded attempts by officers to take him into custody. Earp, a convicted felon probation, is now considered a fugitive.

Information on William Earp’s whereabouts is worth up to $1,000 with an anonymous call to Crime Stoppers at 615-794-400.
