Early voting coming to an end in Franklin; Election Day is Tuesday

Early voting ends at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, in the City of Franklin Ward Alderman Election.

Each of the races in the city’s four voting wards is contested.

Election Day is Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Early voting is available beginning at 8 a.m. in the Williamson County Administrative Complex, 1320 West Main Street, at the Election Commission office.

Voters should bring a state or federal photo ID.

Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Oct. 24, at your designated Election Day polling place.

 

47,639 voters are registered and eligible to vote in the election.

Candidates are:

Ward 1: Beverly Burger, incumbent; J. Edward Campbell, and Michael Phillips.

Ward 2: Dana McLendon, incumbent; Mike Vaughn.

Ward 3: Michael J. Skinner, incumbent; and Scott Speedy.

Ward 4: Margaret Martin, incumbent; and Elizabeth Downing Wanczak.
