Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds added to Pilgrimage Festival lineup

In a lead up to announcing additional artists, Pilgrimage Festival’s Instagram account scattered hints about who the latest artists might be on Tuesday night.

“OK, we’ll give you a hint: Grammy award winning artist. Do you know yet?” read a caption above an image of a cropped shot of Dave Matthews strumming a guitar.

More photos were added Wednesday morning to include the full image of Matthews and guitarist Tim Reynolds, who will perform together.

With the release of new album, “Come Tomorrow” scheduled to drop June 8 and a packed summer tour set to wrap up just two weeks before Pilgrimage Festival, many fans guessed the Dave Matthews Band lead singer would be the artist announced.

Guitarist Reynolds and Matthews have been performing acoustic shows together since 1993.

Matthews and Reynolds join a lineup which includes Lionel Richie, Chris Stapleton, Jack White, Hozier, and Brandi Carlile.

Pilgrimage Festival will take place at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin for the fourth year on September 22 and 23, 2018.
