Couples’ therapy ‘Fight Night’ coming to Franklin church

Two relationship specialists will be in Franklin on Sunday, Feb. 15, as part of their U.S. tour to help couples learn to “fight well.”

Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott,, who are married, are authors known as “master communicators.” They began their series of so-called “Fight Night” lectures last year at NewSpring Church in Wichita, KS.

Sponsored by World Vision and based on the Parrotts’ book, “The Good Fight: How Conflict Can Bring You Close,” each Fight Night is an evening for couples who seeking ways to turn conflict into greater intimacy and connection.

“We are thrilled with the buzz that is happening around this Fight Night tour,” tour producer David Huffman said in a news release.

“The entire team locked arms to pack the house with couples wanting to learn how to communicate better and strengthen their marriages,” he said of the Wichita appearance.

Les Parrott called it is “an honor” to join with World Vision for the Fight Night events.

‘We all share the same passion for helping couples have a wildly fun date night while also picking up some new tools that make a positive,” he said.

Fight Night will be held at The People’s Church, 828 Murfreesboro Road in Franklin from 5-7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15. Tickets are $43 for couples and $30 for singles. To purchase tickets, visit the website.
