Columbia State offers lecture on cyber security

The free lecture is hosted by Daniel Devers, assistant professor of computer information systems and takes place Wednesday, Nov. 7 in the Ledbetter Auditorium.

Computer security and account integrity is a growing concern. Casual computer users and businesses are concerned about keeping overall security, which often begins with logins and passwords. The lecture will explore some practical steps people can take to help reduce their exposed data and information.

The lecture is part of the STEM department’s annual lecture series. The Ledbetter Auditorium is in the Frank G. Clement building on the Columbia campus at 1665 Hampshire Pike.
