Upward Stars is a more competitive division within Upward Sports. The organization places a high priority on preparing each athlete for long-term success both on and off the court through comprehensive athletic development and character lessons that teach athletes essential life skills.

Unlike other organizations that simply work on basketball skills, Upward Stars challenges its athletes to win before, during and after the game, emphasizing the development of the total athlete. Upward Sports is the only organization that offers the 360 Progression, a unique total sports experience that adapts and expands as a youth athlete grows in their personal athletic journey. The 360 Progression develops total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually and socially producing players who excel both on and off the court or field. As a parent, youell have peace-of-mind knowing that your athlete is receiving the right message from a qualified coach who has his or her best interests at heart.

Since Upward Stars launched nationally in 2012, the organization has experienced much success with basketball club teams and athletes. Travel teams have won 11 major tournaments. Seventeen players have received Division I or II commitments, and over 40 players have received college scholarship offers. Two players were even invited to the NBA Top 100 Camp. Upward Stars’ goal is to provide quality basketball instruction/coaching and to mentor young men/women, building athletes of strong character, self-esteem, confidence and spirit.

In July, Upward Stars is offering developmental programming through camps and clinics all at a reasonable fee. An Upward Stars certified coach with many years of experience will teach, motivate and challenge each participant to take their game to the next level. Separate sessions will be held for boys and girls in grades 3 9.

If your child is ready to compete at a higher level and if your family is looking for a different basketball experience, consider Upward Stars.
