Bluegrass Underground announces more concerts in the caverns
Tickets went on sale Saturday for seven additional Bluegrass Underground at The Caverns  shows, from a good old-fashioned country holiday show, a pair of instrumental virtuosi, classic alt-rock, one of the most iconic names in bluegrass and a major underground jamgrass extravaganza.
The concert venue is a natural cave in Pelham, Tennessee, about 10 miles from Monteagle and 90 miles from Williamson County. Among the ticket packages are some that offer lodging and transportation from the hotel to the caverns
The additional shows are as follows:
Aug. 23, Guster rocks The Caverns. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Guster in the epic & intimate cave. Tickets
Sept. 15, ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, whose repertoire ranges from traditional Hawaiian music to jazz fusion to stunning arrangements of rock classics like George Harrison’s “While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” makes his Bluegrass Underground debut at The Caverns. Tickets
Sept. 22, The Seldom Scene, one of the few legendary bluegrass bands that has never performed at Bluegrass Underground, finally rectifies that. Tickets
Sept. 30, another string wizard, guitar master Tommy Emmanuel, makes both a return and debut, returning to Bluegrass Underground to make his Caverns premiere. Tickets
Nov. 30, The Jeff Austin Band, The Larry Keel Experience and The John Stickley Trioteam up. This one may go all night…you need to be there to experience the magic. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.Tickets
Dec. 1, The Caverns has old and new Yule favorites with classic country artist John Berry Christma. Tickets
And this just in: John Moreland, one of the best singer-songwriters to come along in many years, joins veteran singer-songwriter-roots rocker Scott Miller for our July 21 concert, turning what was already a great day Underground into an event not to be missed. Tickets are still available. Tickets
