Battle Ground Academy has named Jared Street as its new head boys basketball coach, the school announced Thursday.
Street has served as an assistant boys basketball coach and head golf coach at Brentwood Academy since 2015.
“Coach Jared Street stood out from a very competitive field of candidates because of his combination of fit, vision, and experience,” BGA Athletic Director Fred Eaves said in a press release. “His vision for the program aligns with BGA’s mission, vision, and values. We are confident that with his experience as a head coach and as an assistant in a variety of environments, he can lead our program successfully on and off the court. We are delighted to welcome him on board.”
Prior to his tenure at BA, he was the head boys basketball coach at Hickman County High School. He also spent time as an assistant basketball coach at Dyersburg High and as a student assistant at Harding University.
Street replaces David Peden, who led the program since 2014.
