Abbey Jordan, daughter of Chad and Jennifer Jordan, is this week’s Jet’s Pizza female Athlete of the Week

She is a senior at Centennial High School and a member of the varsity football cheerleading team and competition cheer team.

She was named All-American Cheerleader, won State with the CHS Varsity Competition Squad, and won camp champs with the varsity football cheer squad.

Jordan started competition cheer in third grade and said that she fell in love with it instantly.

When asked what inspires her to train and compete she said, “I am a very competitive person, so the fear of losing always keeps me motivated.”

Her biggest role models are her parents, Chad and Jennifer.

“They have always encouraged me to be the strongest and best version of myself,” she said.

Rita Gregory, CHS Varsity Football Cheerleading Coach, said of Jordan, “Abbey’s continued commitment to making Centennial’s varsity football cheer squad one of the best in the county through her leadership as one of the squad captains is why she is extremely deserving of this honor.”

Outside of cheering, Jordan said she loves hanging out with friends and family and watching college football on Saturdays. She roots for Alabama.

After graduating from CHS this year, she plans to attend The University of Alabama. She would like to pursue a career in the medical field.
