Starstruck fans lined up on Main Street in downtown Franklin Wednesday afternoon for a chance to appear as extras in the filming of ABCes hit show eNashvillee at the Franklin Theatre.

eWeere skipping work today, donet tell my boss,e joked Kathy Kuryla, co-owner of The Quilter Squares on Columbia Ave. Kurylaes business partner, Kay Roberts, was standing right beside Kuryla as she spoke.

eThese things donet always come to Franklin,e Roberts said. eWe made the memory quilt the show used last year. Ites a great opportunity to be an audience member.e

Kim Peterson and her daughter, Victoria Peterson, who drove from Arkansas to attend the taping, also stood in line.

eFor me, ites my favorite show,e said Kim Peterson, a teacheres assistant at Hunteres Bend Elementary School. eThey were asking for 100 to 150 people to be extras and I thought it be a fun experience.e

Paula Harris, who relocated to Franklin two years ago, was visibly bubbling with enthusiasm.

eI havenet run out of things to do yet,e Harris said. eI absolutely love Franklin.e

Because of the taping, 4th Avenue from Main Street to the city parking garage, was closed to accommodate the TV showes equipment trucks until the filming wrapped up last night.
