$2 million renovation of Fairview Rec Center will start Nov. 1

WILLIAMSON COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION

Williamson County Parks and Recreation plans to begin a $2 million
renovation of the Fairview Recreation Complex on Nov. 1, according to an announcement this week from the department.

Plans for the renovation will be revealed at a public meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fairview Middle School Theatre, 7200 Cumberland Dr. The public is invited.

The rec center is at 2714 Fairview Blvd. It includes an outdoor swimming pool that was added in 2001.

The renovation project is expected to take about one year to complete. The center will stay open throughout the three-phase project and regular operations will not be affected.
