The long-awaited mountain bike trail at Brentwood’s Marcella Vivrette Smith Park will open on April 27.
The City of Brentwood, along with community partners Bike Walk Brentwood, the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association Middle Tennessee Chapter (SORBA Mid-TN), will host a grand opening ceremony for the 7-mile long trail, which, in part, provides space for student cyclists to train.
The 9 a.m. ceremony is open to the public, and attendees are asked to park to the left of the Ravenswood Mansion, near the soccer fields.
As previously reported, the city entered into the public-private partnership in 2023, and since then, volunteers have been working to complete the trail system.
